**Job Description: Part-Time Accountant** I am seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented part-time accountant for my small business (two entities S and C corporation) . I would like the individual to take charge of managing the monthly payroll and bookkeeping services for our small corporation, which employs just 2 individuals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our payroll processes are executed accurately and on time, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of our business. In addition to payroll management, the ideal candidate will provide comprehensive tax preparation services . This include the preparation of our quarterly and annual corporate and personal tax filings but also quarterly proactive tax strategy. The accountant will offer valuable quarterly tax advice aimed at ensuring our compliance with all applicable tax regulations, as well as identifying opportunities to optimize our tax positions and minimize liabilities. A solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations is a must, as is proficiency in accounting software and tools commonly used in the industry. All interactions with the client need to be virtual.
