Hello, I’m the co-owner of a small bilingual catering business based in Texas called Mexico in a Pot. I’ve drafted a Catering Service Agreement in both Spanish and English that I plan to use with clients for private events. The contract is about 2–3 pages long and covers key areas like services provided, payment terms, cancellation policy, and liability. I'm looking for a licensed attorney familiar with Texas contract law to: Review and suggest edits to ensure the contract is legally sound. Confirm enforceability of terms like deposits, cancellations, and liability. Ensure consistency between the Spanish and English sections (or flag if a certified translation is recommended). This is a one-time job, but I’m open to future collaborations as my business grows. Spanish-speaking lawyers are preferred, as many of my clients speak Spanish and I want to ensure clarity on both sides.
