Bookkeeper for Ongoing Monthly QuickBooks Reconciliation (Tax Deduction Knowledge a Bonus)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented bookkeeper to handle the ongoing monthly reconciliation of our QuickBooks account. This is an ongoing month-to-month role, so please only apply if you have the bandwidth for consistent monthly work. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, accurate with financial transactions, and able to provide timely reports. Responsibilities: Reconcile monthly bank statements with QuickBooks accounts Categorize and record transactions accurately Provide clear, accurate, and timely financial reports at the end of each month (via QB) Work with our team to address discrepancies and ensure accuracy Offer guidance on tax-deductible categories and assist in ensuring proper categorization of expenses Meet a locked-in due date for each month’s reconciliation, typically by the 5th of the following month Requirements: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, specifically with QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet monthly deadlines and work independently Familiarity with tax-deductible categories (bonus) Excellent communication skills Preferred: Experience working with small businesses and S-Corp structures Knowledge of financial reports and tax filing procedures Please Note: We would love to know your monthly charge for handling our business account separately from your fee for managing the personal account.
