GL Accountant / Reconciling Guru

Description: We’re a brand-new accounting firm looking for a detail-focused GL Accountant to jump in immediately. What You’ll Do: -Reconcile GL accounts and clean up messy books -Support with month-end close -Handle ad hoc accounting tasks (categorizing, checklists, process docs) -Work across multiple clients in a fast-moving environment Requirements: -3+ years of GL accounting or high-level bookkeeping experience -Strong reconciliation skills -Experience with QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets -Able to work independently and communicate clearly -Available 10–20 hours/week during U.S. business hours (EST or CST preferred) -Bonus: Experience with construction or real estate accounting To Apply: In your message, please include: -A short example of a reconciliation issue you solved -Whether you’ve worked in construction or real estate -The phrase “organized chaos” somewhere in your message — this helps me know you actually read the post.
