Our goal is to ensure the team is well-prepared to maximize the functionality and efficiency of the updated system before, during, and after the transition. Training will be conducted virtually and we aim to complete the training within 1 to 3 focused sessions. Areas of Focus Include: • Best practices for removing old receivables that cannot be collected (including setting up a bad debt expense category). • How clients can pay via a QuickBooks link using a credit card. • How to add and automate late fees in QuickBooks Desktop. • Editing invoice templates and customer messaging, including embedding a payment link. • How to remove uncollectable balances from customers (e.g., bankruptcy) without creating a tax event. • How to load merchant services into QuickBooks to allow online payments and ensure remittance emails are sent to the appropriate team member. • How to batch-send late notices if full automation is not possible. • How to run custom client reports (e.g., business volume over the past 1–2 years). • General best practices for improving accounting workflows. Ideal Candidate: • Expert-level experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Solutions 24.0 (experience with 22.0 is a plus). • Proven success in training teams virtually. • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable management, merchant services integration, and QuickBooks Desktop automation tools. • Able to tailor training to our company’s specific workflows and needs. Deliverables: • 1 to 5 virtual training sessions customized to our needs. • Clear step-by-step walkthroughs and real-time demonstrations. • (Optional but preferred) Training handouts or quick reference guides. • Live Q&A during each session. • (Optional) Limited email follow-up support after sessions.
