Our head attorney, licensed in New York, has established a reputable presence with several businesses operating across Florida. As our operations continue to expand, we are in need of a talented Florida-licensed lawyer to join our team as a Virtual Assistant Lawyer. This role is integral to providing seamless legal services and support across state lines. Location: Virtual/Remote (Must be licensed in Florida) Position Type: Contract-based, with potential for long-term engagement Hours: Flexible, TBD Role Overview: We are seeking a Virtual Assistant Lawyer who is a self-starter, highly organized, and possesses a strong background in business law as it pertains to the Florida jurisdiction. The ideal candidate will assist our main attorney in managing legal aspects his various businesses operating in Florida. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar Association. A minimum of 2 years of experience in business law, preferably with knowledge of Florida business legal environment. Proficiency in legal research databases and software. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Technical savvy with experience in remote communication and productivity tools. Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
