**Overview:** We're seeking detail-oriented accountants and accounting professionals to support our cutting-edge AI initiative. You'll play a crucial role in developing realistic, detailed accounting scenarios derived from existing accounting textbooks, manuals, and reference materials. These scenarios will directly contribute to the evaluation and training of our specialized Large Language Model (LLM) tailored for accounting professionals. **Role Description:** As an Accounting Scenario Developer, you will access resources provided within our Notion workspace, select relevant accounting concepts, and craft realistic client-accountant scenarios. Each scenario should clearly demonstrate an accounting problem or query that a real-world client or accountant would encounter. These scenarios will be used to evaluate and fine-tune our AI model, ensuring it meets the precise, nuanced demands of accounting professionals. **Key Responsibilities:** * Review accounting textbooks and materials provided in Notion. * Identify and select relevant accounting concepts or standards (US GAAP, IFRS, ASC codes, PCAOB standards). * Create clear, detailed, and realistic accountant/client scenarios that illustrate practical accounting issues and solutions. * Ensure scenarios are accurately aligned with authoritative standards and best practices. * Clearly document each scenario and its intended solution or expected outcome. **Deliverables:** * Create 5 unique scenarios per assigned accounting book. * Each scenario should include: * Clear identification of the accounting concept involved. * Realistic, multi-turn dialogues reflecting accountant-client interactions. * Detailed numeric examples where appropriate. * Structured presentation including authoritative references (ASC, IFRS, GAAP). **Qualifications:** * Certified accountant or equivalent professional qualification. * Deep familiarity with US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards. * Strong attention to detail, clarity, and precision. * Excellent English communication and writing skills. * Experience crafting training materials or accounting examples is highly desirable. * Comfortable using Notion or similar digital collaboration tools. **Working Conditions:** * Remote, hourly-based engagement through UpWork. * Flexible hours, project-driven timelines. * Anticipated requirement: up to 10 contractors simultaneously. **Scope:** * Total of approximately 450 scenarios needed across 30 accounting books.
