Seeking Prototype Engineer for Smart Mood Ring with Biosensors + Color LED Display

We’re looking to build a functional early-stage prototype of a smart mood ring that includes biosensors and a color-changing LED display covering the top 30–50% of the surface. This is for a wearable emotional tech product we're developing. The goal is to create a prototype that looks and feels polished while also demonstrating core functionality, real-time biosensor data collection and reactive LED color changes. We already have design renders and are seeking someone who can build the full prototype (ideally both the ring casing and internal electronics), but we're open to collaboration between a mechanical designer and electrical engineer if needed. What we need: A wearable ring that resembles polished metal, titanium, or chrome (can be CNC’d, 3D printed, or cast. Open to your recommendations) A color LED lighting system (micro LED strip or alternative) that covers 30–50% of the surface, capable of smooth transitions. Biosensors for real-time biometric input: HRV Heart rate (PPG) Skin temperature GSR (optional) IMU (optional) The LED display must respond to sensor input—even basic reactive logic is fine (e.g., color shifts based on heart rate) A rechargeable battery power source (coin cell, magnetic charger, etc) Basic firmware or onboard software to control color changes based on sensor readings (microcontroller, Arduino, or similar) Ideally 1-5 prototypes shipped to us (preferably US-based for shipping ease) Nice to have: Experience with wearable biosensor integration Understanding of sleek consumer hardware design Ability to deliver something that looks visually polished (not just a dev board or raw wires) Please include in your response: 1.
