I’m hiring a phone-based researcher to collect pricing from one hundred pre-determined self-storage facilities by May 30. The assignment should take about twenty to thirty hours. You will call each site, pose as a customer, ask for the monthly rate of every unit size they rent, and record the answers in a Google Sheet that I supply. You’ll also add a few additional data points drawn from online sources that I will provide. This work requires precise data entry and great communication skills. Many employees will quote prices readily, while others may hesitate; You need strong spoken English and have a calm, friendly tone and good follow-up questions to encourage them to share complete information. Accuracy is critical because the numbers feed directly into an analysis project.
