We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented real estate financial modeler to enhance and customize an existing Excel-based underwriting model. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real estate finance, strong Excel proficiency, and the ability to tailor models to meet specific underwriting and investor requirements. Responsibilities: Overhaul and streamline an existing CRE financial model Add new sections, including rent and sales comp analysis Refine inputs and assumptions for greater flexibility and usability Enhance outputs, summary dashboards, and investor reporting tools Ensure accuracy, transparency, and ease of use throughout the model Qualifications: Proven experience building or modifying commercial real estate models Advanced Excel skills (including dynamic formulas, data validation, tables, etc.) Familiarity with standard CRE metrics (NOI, DSCR, LTV, LTC, IRR, equity multiple, etc.) Strong attention to detail and an eye for clean, professional formatting Bonus: Experience with multifamily, office, retail, or mixed-use models If you’re passionate about real estate analytics and enjoy refining complex financial models into powerful decision-making tools, we’d love to hear from you.
