MEP Engineer Needed to Review & Stamp Restaurant Plans in Utah – (Revisions as needed)

We are seeking a licensed MEP engineer in Utah to review and stamp the MEP plans for a 1,498 sqft restaurant located in a multi-use complex. The plans must comply with all applicable Utah building codes and local requirements. The ideal candidate can provide comprehensive MEP plan review, revisions as necessary, and stamping (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and will work closely with our architect—who is currently updating the architectural plans—to ensure the documents are permit-ready and well-coordinated across disciplines. ⚠️ This is a time-sensitive project. We are aiming for a quick turnaround once the plans are complete. The completed architectural plans will be available for review within the next 1.5 weeks, and we are looking to line up the right engineer in advance. Scope of Work: Review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans for compliance with Utah code. Stamp and sign the final plans for submission to the local permitting authority. Offer feedback and revisions as needed to ensure compliance and coordination. Collaborate with our architect during the review process to resolve any questions or design clarifications. Requirements: Licensed to practice and stamp MEP plans in the state of Utah. Experience with restaurants or similar commercial tenant improvements. Familiarity with Utah building and safety codes. Ability to provide timely review and feedback. Comfortable working as part of a collaborative design team. Budget: Please submit your best fixed price for this job. We are looking for a cost-effective and efficient solution and welcome competitive proposals. We are happy to provide the current state of the MEP and architectural plans for review before you submit your price, so you can better understand the scope and effort involved. How to Apply: Include your license information and any relevant work samples or references. Let us know your estimated timeline for review and stamping. Share your fixed price and whether it covers all three MEP disciplines or individual ones. If you'd like to review the current plans before submitting your price, just let us know—we’re happy to share them with serious candidates. We are looking for a responsive, detail-oriented professional who can help move this project forward quickly and efficiently, in close coordination with our design team. We look forward to hearing from you!
