Overview: Russell Capital Investments and Orexis Properties, LLC are small but growing businesses focused on steady growth and financial stability. We are local to the Orlando area, but the books can be done remotely with access to our Quickbooks account. Currently, our books were cleaned up by a bookkeeper for the past 3 months, but unfortunately for personal reasons we had part ways. So, we are in need of a skilled bookkeeper to help clean up and manage our financial records. Our Immediate Needs: 1. Cleanup of Financial Records: We require a bookkeeper/accountant to thoroughly review our financial records and make recommendations. This includes categorizing transactions correctly and ensuring our chart of accounts is properly set up for our company Orexis Properties, LLC. 2. Reconciliation of Transactions: There is approximately a few weeks worth of transactions that need to be reconciled for the company. This is essential for us to establish an accurate financial baseline and regain trust in our financial reports. 3. Establishment of Reliable Financial Reports: We need to ensure our financial statements are reliable and accurately reflect our financial position. This includes setting up our books in a way that allows for seamless monthly reporting and easy access to financial insights. Qualifications We Are Looking For: Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management for small businesses. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks; in addition to understanding the link between Quickbooks and Buildertrend and some working knowledge of Buildertrend is a must. Attention to detail and ability to accurately categorize transactions and set up a chart of accounts. Experience with reconciliation and preparing reliable financial statements (we’ll need these statements sent to us monthly or upon request). Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Project Scope: Phase 1: Review existing financial records and chart of accounts set up to ensure they are up to standards for the accounting industry and corporate reporting requirements and to do our taxes. (3 hours) Phase 2: Reconciliation of last month's transactions. (1 hour) Phase 3: Establishment of a system for ongoing bookkeeping and monthly financial reporting (5-7 hours per month) What We Offer: Competitive compensation based on experience and the scope of work.
