Requirements: We are seeking a qualified, part-time, agency operations assistant (approximately 2 days per week), with superb numerical and time management skills. The right candidate must have bookkeeping experience and be a multi-tasker; possess attention to detail; have good communication and correspondence abilities; maintain database skills; and have knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Responsibilities include: Preparing weekly payment report and documentation for external bookkeeper Supporting bookkeeper’s preparation of weekly remittance statements and payments as needed Preparing and sending weekly payment communications to clients and responding to client queries about payments Reviewing and sending royalty statements to clients Filing client documents (royalty statements, contracts, etc.) Assisting with generating and reviewing accounting reports at the end of each month Handling other back office matters as needed About Our Company: Calligraph is a full-service literary agency with offices in New York and Boston.
