Hi there. Looking for a very professional book cover designer to redesign my cover, spine, and back. I have worked with a few illustrators already, and they have not given me what I'm seeking. Here is what I would like: 1) Someone who can read about what my book is about and suggest fresh, interesting, and unique ideas. 2) Someone who understands what the young adult market wants in terms of a book cover and makes mine fit in, being of the same style. 3) Someone who understands composition and color and ensures that all text is absolutely readable and prominent. 4) Someone who can design a simple and elegant cover that is eye-catching. 5) Someone who regularly communicates with me. If you're interested, I'll ask you to read the attachment about what my book is about and then propose three concepts to me along with sketches. The sketches should not be very detailed or take much time. I just would like a sense of your idea. Also, please link me to your portfolio or send me covers you have already designed, particularly of young adult covers. Thanks in advance. I am hoping to find someone really great! By the way, I also really would prefer this be done in the next few weeks as my book is desperately waiting for the new cover. It is already published, and I've gotten negative feedback on its current cover.
