Material Estimator – DONE PM LLC Position: Material Estimator I – Entry Level (95% Remote, 5% Travel) Location: Hybrid Employment Type: Part Time / Contract Pay: $25/Hour Starting - Commensurate Education & Experience About DONE PM LLC DONE PM LLC delivers expert material estimations, sustainable designs, and comprehensive project management for residential and commercial construction projects. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will generate accurate material estimates and take-offs using PreBuiltML X software, interpret blueprints, and support our project management and design teams. Subject to satisfactory performance, this position has the potential to transition into a full-time salaried role. Key Responsibilities • Read and interpret construction blueprints and structural designs for various projects. • Create precise material take-offs and lists using PreBuiltMLX, ensuring compliance with local building codes. • Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepancies. • Ability to understand plans and construction processes to solve critical issues with material supply • Prepare and review material estimation layouts and reports. • Attend virtual team meetings, job training and occasional in-person events or site visits Qualifications • Associate’s degree in construction, drafting, or related field, or equivalent experience is REQUIRED. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents is REQUIRED. • Proficiency with PreBuiltML X or similar estimating software is REQUIRED. • 1+ year experience in material estimation or construction PREFFERED. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional site visits, team/company events. Work Availability Included but NOT limited to the following: • Must maintain a regular and acceptable schedule as determined by management. • Must be available to work at least 4 hours per day, 20+ hours per week • Or other hours as determined necessary to meet business needs • Must be flexible to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as required by business demands • Must be available to promptly respond to clients during normal business hours Travel Requirements • This position may require occasional travel with overnight stays. • Must have current driver’s license and auto liability insurance • Must be willing to travel to company related events Physical & Work Environment • Ability to sit for extended periods. • Work is primarily office-based, with occasional site visits.
