We are seeking a talented and creative Website Designer to create an engaging, visually appealing, and user-friendly home page and one interior page for our website. The ideal candidate will have experience in modern web design trends, user experience (UX), and the ability to design for responsiveness across devices. About Us: We are a national, woman-owned, financial planning firm that provides hourly, fiduciary financial advice to individuals, corporations and small businesses. We make financial planning accessible to anyone, without selling any products, making commissions or taking a percentage of assets. We are for profit, but mission oriented and our mission is to change the world by increasing financial wellbeing for absolutely everybody. Responsibilities: - Design a professional and visually appealing home page layout based on the brand’s guidelines, current site audit, brand mission and target audience. - Ensure the design meets accessibility standards, is mobile-friendly and responsive across all devices and browsers. - Incorporate key elements such as the logo, navigation, call-to-action buttons, and other essential components to create a cohesive design. - Work collaboratively with management to gather requirements and feedback. - Deliver the final design in a format suitable for development (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent). Requirements: - Proven experience in web design, with a portfolio showcasing previous website home pages. - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software. - Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles. - Familiarity with modern design trends and web standards. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines. - Knowledge of SEO best practices for web design preferred. - Comfortable with the personal finance space Deliverables: A complete home page design and design on one interior page, including: - Desktop and mobile layouts. - Clear annotations for developers (if needed). - Fonts, colors, and assets used in the design. We're hoping to complete this project in the next 4-8 weeks.
