We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freelance HR Administrator to provide remote support to our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional looking for flexible work arrangements. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR administrative tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with U.S. labor laws. Responsibilities: Employee Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, benefits, performance reviews, and training records, utilizing HRIS/HRMS systems. Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate seamless onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Assist with offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and final paperwork. HR Document Preparation: Draft, review, and manage various HR-related documents, such as offer letters, employment verification letters, policy updates, disciplinary records, and performance appraisal forms. Payroll Support: Assist with payroll preparation by providing accurate and timely data related to absences, bonuses, leaves, and other relevant employee information. Benefits Administration Support: Provide administrative support for benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, collaborating with benefit providers as needed. Employee Inquiries: Serve as a primary point of contact for routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing accurate information or escalating to appropriate parties when necessary. Recruitment Coordination: Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job ads, coordinating interview schedules, and managing candidate communication. Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure all HR administrative tasks comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies. Assist in researching and updating HR policies and procedures as needed. Reporting & Data Management: Generate HR reports from databases, analyze data to support decision-making, and identify trends or areas for improvement. General HR Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, organizing HR files, and assisting with HR projects. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a significant plus. This is a freelance, remote position. Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
