What You'll Do: 1. Secure Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure Management: * Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on FedRAMP-authorized AWS or GCP, ensuring all resources are exclusively US-based. * Maintain logical separation of Development, Testing, Production, and Training environments using dedicated virtual environments. * Implement and manage auto-scaling mechanisms to ensure 99.9% monthly uptime, adhering to strict SLAs. * Configure and maintain robust security settings for all cloud services, aligning with City's policy and governance frameworks. * Ensure all services are delivered with SSL/TLS encryption. * Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure health, performance, and security. 2. Content Delivery Network (CDN) Management: * Provision, configure, and manage a high-performance CDN, ensuring optimal global edge caching. * Proactively monitor and optimize CDN performance to achieve latency under 100ms in San Diego. * Configure and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules to protect against common web exploits. * Implement and manage Image Optimization (IO) features within the CDN. * Configure and manage DDoS protection and failover routing mechanisms. 3. Drupal Platform Maintenance & Support: * Perform timely patching and updates of Drupal 10 core and contributed modules within 30 days of release. * Collaborate with development teams on custom development of templates, views, taxonomies, and content types, ensuring proper integration and performance. * Configure and provide ongoing support for critical Drupal modules and services like Solr Search, Redis, and Varnish. * Maintain dedicated staging and sandbox environments for thorough QA testing. * Manage and support GitHub-based code deployments and version control workflows. * Diagnose and resolve issues related to the Drupal platform, its integrations, and underlying infrastructure. What You'll Bring: * Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with either AWS or GCP (minimum 3-5 years), including services like EC2/GCE, S3/Cloud Storage, VPC/VPC Network, RDS/Cloud SQL, IAM, CloudFront/Cloud CDN. * Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. * Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing). * Linux Administration: Proficient in Linux system administration. * Security Acumen: Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, FedRAMP compliance, and data privacy regulations. * CDN Expertise: Hands-on experience with major CDN providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai, AWS CloudFront, Google Cloud CDN), including WAF, IO, and DDoS mitigation. * Drupal Expertise: Strong experience with Drupal 10 (or recent versions), including module management, configuration, and troubleshooting (minimum 3 years). * Web Technologies: Experience with web servers (Nginx/Apache), MySQL/PostgreSQL, Varnish, and Redis. * Search Technologies: Experience with Solr Search integration and configuration. * Version Control: Proficient with Git and GitHub. * Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. * Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. * Bonus Points for: CI/CD experience, scripting skills (Bash, Python).
