Who we are: We are a small satirical newspaper, akin to The Onion. We are looking for a creative web developer that likes comedy, flexible work environments, and can work with our existing designs to help build us a new website. What we want built: - Custom CSS designs built from scratch, no squarespace or wix pre-made templates - Content Management System for ease of updating content to the site - Comments Section - Search Functionality - Video Functionality (could include embedding from YouTube) - Multiple article page templates (regular article, slideshow, listicle, quiz, etc.) Who we want: Either a full stack developer or team of developers with complementing skillsets. How we work: As a small business, we understand the gig economy can be rough, so we want to work with you to make your job as easy as possible. Any questions, clarifications, visual designs, documents, or other things that will help you with your process, we can and will provide. We're not looking to just throw some money at you to pump out a website like a golden goose. If we wanted to exploit people we'd work with Fiverr or Hawk Tuah Coin. Rather, we're looking to establish a positive working relationship with mutual long term goals. One based on communication and creativity. We call on Discord for team meetings. If you'd like to attend those, let us know. We can also just meet one on one if you prefer. We keep flexible hours. So long as work gets done and is high quality we don't care how you do it!
