I run a local news website focused on New Jersey real estate. I am looking for a writer with journalism experience who is local to the state or very familiar with it and can pitch/report on local beats relating to restaurant openings, real estate, community news, and lifestyle content. I will also provide pitches from press releases or "reblogs" based off stories found on the web. Short news articles (300-600 words) should be turned around in 1-3 days. Longer lifestyle/SEO pieces (1,000-3,000 words) in 1-2 weeks. You must live in or be very familiar with New Jersey - restaurants, major cities, attractions, etc. Knowledge of real estate preferred but not required. No AI to be used to write the articles or for writing samples. If interested please submit a writing sample and explain your experience/familiarity with real estate and New Jersey.
