I am a Bay Area, California, Designer and Creative Director of a design agency that focuses on nonprofit and mission-driven organizations. We are in search of a website copywriter who can turn complex ideas into concise language where users understand, feel understood, and click. You will be the bridge between complex information and user-friendly experiences by transforming complicated concepts into bite-sized, accessible digital narratives. You understand how to organize words and ideas within a website's information architecture while collaborating closely with the Art Director and Designer. You can craft smooth microcopy that subtly guides users. For this project, the initial drafts of content will be provided and there is a possibility that you will need to interview the client for missing information. You will be integrated into our process using Figma and Google Docs. We build websites that are easy for our clients to maintain and try to uphold best web practices in design, copy, and development. We care about accessibility and SEO—asking that you keep those in mind in your writing process. If you are a good fit, there is also the possibility of a long-term web maintenance relationship or joining another project with our design firm.
