SEEKING NEW JERSEY CANDIDATES ON-SITE ONLY!!! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Networking, Routing, VLANs, Microsoft technologies, and VMware solutions, along with a proven ability to deliver pre-sales and post-sales support, system implementation, and technical troubleshooting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work hands-on with industry-leading IT infrastructure while supporting a broad range of clients throughout New Jersey and nearby regions. Key Responsibilities Install, support, and maintain server and networking hardware and software. Implement and upgrade Exchange to Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments. Configure and maintain Dell servers, SANs, and NAS solutions. Deploy and support VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization technologies. Install and maintain firewalls and network devices from SonicWall, Dell, Cisco, and others. Provide IT solutions to business and management challenges. Diagnose and resolve issues from major outages to minor faults. Maintain and monitor network security, especially for internet-connected networks. Deliver technical support to users with varying IT knowledge. Collaborate closely with client teams and internal IT staff. Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and project scopes. Assist sales teams with technical design of Compute/Virtual, SAN, and Networking solutions. Required Skills & Experience - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical IT role - Solid expertise in Networking, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, and Routing Protocols - Strong background in Windows Server products, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 - Proficient with VMware ESX, Hyper-V, and Virtual Center implementations - Hands-on experience with firewalls and security technologies - Ability to provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer - Excellent communication and customer-facing skills Preferred Certifications CNA/CNP Dell/IBM Certifications MCSE SonicWall or equivalent vendor certifications Job Requirements - Possess a valid driver’s license - Reside within 50 miles of Matawan, NJ - Be able to commute reliably to client sites - Must have reliable transportation - Be able to work in-person and be available for occasional overtime Benefits 401(k) with matching Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Training & Development Opportunities This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role with occasional overtime.
