The ideal candidate must be reliable, communicative, and able to write clean, well-structured code that aligns with the existing application architecture. ### **About the Project** The application is a cloud-based event management system designed to streamline trade show and industry event planning. It provides CRUD operations for managing events, attendees, and meetings, along with workflow tools for scheduling and resource reservations. The system is built on modern technologies and hosted on Microsoft Azure. ### **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components using the existing tech stack. - Write efficient, well-organized, and maintainable code that follows the current code structure. - Work independently to manage tasks while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. - Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency. - Communicate directly with the client via email (through an assigned company email) and be available on during U.S. business hours. - Follow best practices for version control using Git within Azure DevOps. - Integrate and maintain third-party services, including SendGrid (email), Twilio (SMS), and Bold Reports (reporting). ### **Required Skills & Experience** - **Strong proficiency in:** - C# (.NET) - SQL (Azure SQL Server) - TypeScript / JavaScript - React - HTML & CSS - Experience working with Microsoft Azure, including Web App Services and Azure DevOps. - Familiarity with third-party integrations such as SendGrid and Twilio. - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients. - Proven experience writing high-quality, maintainable code with minimal revisions. ### **Preferred Qualifications** - Prior experience in event management or scheduling software. - Experience with Bold Reports or similar reporting tools. - Strong documentation skills (although formal documentation is currently limited). ### **Selection Process** - Candidates will be required to complete a technical interview. - A coding assessment will be conducted to evaluate problem-solving and code quality. ### **Commitment & Availability** - Long-term engagement (multi-year commitment). - Part-time availability (a few hours per week). - Must be responsive and available during U.S. business hours for communication.
