Apigee Architect Exp-8-12y Job Description Required Skills & Qualifications: · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. · 5+ years of experience in API architecture, design, and development. · Strong expertise in Apigee Edge, including hybrid and cloud deployments. · Hands-on experience with API security models, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and OpenID Connect. · Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP APIs. · Experience with API versioning, throttling, rate-limiting, caching, and logging. · Knowledge of API monetization models and developer portal implementation. · Expertise in Cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure). · Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or JavaScript. · Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). · Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines. · Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. · Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders, business users, and development teams. Preferred Qualifications: · Apigee certification (Apigee API Engineer, Apigee Certified Professional) is a plus. · Experience in integrating Apigee with BigQuery, Firebase, and other Google Cloud services. · Understanding of GraphQL and Event-Driven Architectures. · Familiarity with AI/ML-based API analytics and monitoring.
