Project Overview We are seeking a freelance designer to assist with the redesign of our website, focusing on improving usability, aesthetics, and overall user experience. The goal of this redesign is to enhance user engagement, improve accessibility to lead to more website conversions.This project will include updates to our homepage and interior body pages, using a mobile-first approach while maintaining brand consistency. About Us Disability Benefits Help is a free online resource dedicated to assisting individuals in navigating the Social Security Disability (SSD) application process. The site provides educational content, eligibility tools, and access to legal professionals who can help improve the chances of approval. By offering guidance on both Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Disability Benefits Help aims to simplify a complex system and connect users to attorneys who can help them get approved for Social Security disability benefits. Scope of Work We will provide you with branding guidelines to follow, which includes color palette and typography. We are open to slight refinements to improve visual hierarchy and readability. Home Page Design The redesigned home page will feature: The redesigned homepage will include: Free Evaluation section How It Works overview (to be designed by you) Why Choose Us section (to be designed by you) Testimonials section (to be designed by you) You will be designing the How It Works overview, Why Choose Us section and Testimonials section. Interior Body Page Design The website’s interior body pages should feature: Improve Typography & Spacing: Use a clear, legible font with sufficient line height and spacing for better readability Ensure Mobile Responsiveness: The page should be easy to read and navigate on all devices, with no pinch-zoom required. Contrast & Color Accessibility: Ensure that text contrasts well with the background and meets WCAG guidelines. Clickable Elements & CTAs: Making sure Buttons and links should be large enough for easy tapping on mobile screens. Deliverables The designer will be responsible for creating a mobile-first approach design for the following: Home Page Design Interior Body Page Design for what all interior body pages should look like Additional considerations: Assessing sticky navigation options Repositioning the phone number for better visibility and conversions Final deliverables should be provided in Figma. We expect at least two rounds of revisions for each page before final approval. We aim to have both the home page and interior body page design finalized by the end of April. ​​Budget & Payment Terms This is a fixed-rate project of $2,000 upon milestone completion What We’re Looking For A designer with experience in mobile-first web design Proficiency in Figma for seamless collaboration Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and mobile-first UX focusing on user behavior insights and CRO best practices Ability to balance branding consistency with modern UI/UX improvements A portfolio showcasing relevant web design work, including examples of landing page and responsive design Experience working with lead generation websites is a plus Familiarity with Drupal is a bonus (not required) Next Steps If you're interested, please submit your portfolio and relevant work samples along with your availability.
