We're seeking an experienced legal writer with expertise in mass tort litigation to create professional white papers on our behalf. The ideal candidate will have strong legal knowledge combined with the ability to produce authoritative, well-researched white papers that establish thought leadership in the mass tort space. Responsibilities Research and write comprehensive white papers on mass tort litigation topics, cases, and trends Develop compelling narratives that explain complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences Synthesize information from court documents, legal precedents, and expert opinions into cohesive, authoritative documents Create data-driven content that includes relevant statistics, case examples, and legal analysis Produce polished, publication-ready documents with proper citations and references Meet established deadlines and content specifications Requirements Law degree (J.D.) or equivalent legal education/experience Proven experience writing white papers, legal briefs, or similar long-form content Demonstrated knowledge of mass tort litigation, including product liability, pharmaceutical litigation, or environmental torts Excellent research abilities and familiarity with legal databases and resources Strong analytical skills to identify patterns and insights across multiple cases Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy Portfolio that includes samples of long-form legal content or white papers Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with mass tort litigation as an attorney or legal professional Understanding of white paper structure, formatting, and best practices Ability to create compelling executive summaries and conclusions Experience incorporating visual elements (charts, tables, timelines) into technical documents Project Details Contract position with potential for ongoing white paper projects Compensation based on white paper length, complexity, and writer experience Remote position with deadline-based deliverables
