We are looking for a skilled and proactive Social Media Manager to help launch and grow the online presence of an upcoming live event and content series focused on impact, engagement, and entertainment. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy, managing influencer partnerships, and potentially expanding onto new social platforms. This is a project of a social impact firm with 13+ years of experience, and success in this role could lead to future work across other client accounts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a launch strategy for our social media presence Create, schedule, and post high-quality, engaging content (images, videos, captions) Identify, reach out to, and confirm influencer partnerships to help promote the project Monitor and engage with our community, responding to comments and messages Analyze and report on social media performance, making adjustments as needed Establish and optimize accounts on new platforms if necessary Collaborate with our team to align social media strategy with overall project goals Ideal Candidate: Proven experience managing social media for events, brands, or content series Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and growth strategies Experience with influencer marketing and outreach Ability to create compelling content (basic graphic design, short-form video editing is a plus) Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Passion for social impact and community-driven projects Why This Role?
