Are you a changemaker who wants to update the way music is taught to young people across the globe? We are an international music education non-profit (501c3) based in New York. We bring cutting-edge music technology into classrooms to allow students to produce their own original songs. We teach life skills and social-emotional learning through the process of collaborative song creation. We are looking for a Video Editor to help us create a series of marketing videos to help spread the word about Project Rhythm’s teacher certification program. See more at (link removed) Job Duties & Tasks: We need someone with marketing editing video experience to help us make a 5 min funnel video to pitch and explain Project Rhythm's new certification program that includes: You will use the founder’s self-shot interview-style video as the base, You will need to be able to cut the interview video with Project Rhythm video and photograph b-roll footage You will need to use one of Project Rhythm's produced songs as background music We will also need shorter clips of the video including but not limited to: 1 min cut down of the video 30-second cut down of the video 10-second teaser cut down of the video We want to use the videos on multiple platforms. Facebook and YouTube are the primary places we want to target, but we might need Instagram versions too (Story, Post, & Reel). We will need a 4:5 format in addition to a 9:16 cut. Requirements Digital Marketing Background, Understanding, and Experience - understanding of how consumers engage with direct response advertising on social media along with social media advertising best practices. Video Editing/Animation/Effects/Graphic Design Experience Strong Social Media Presence and/or Personal Creative Portfolio Videography (iPhone & other) and Photography Experience Proficient in the following computer programs: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve Good communication skills, detail-oriented, and well-organized with experience working in a remote environment Education: Bachelor’s Degree or commiserate experience To Apply: Please submit your cover letter, your resume/CV, and examples from your portfolio.
