Videographer for Saturday Soccer League (Casual Hobby Project)

Hey! I’m a recreational soccer enthusiast looking to document my journey playing in a Saturday soccer league in NYC —and maybe the occasional pickup game (each game is about an hour). I’m looking for someone to film from the sideline—either tracking the overall game flow or focusing on individual players (mostly me, sometimes others). Nothing fancy—just solid, clear footage that captures the action. What I'm looking for: - Able to shoot from the sideline for about an hour. - Good eye for following the ball and/or individual players - Available on Saturdays during 10am -1pm (The game is about 1 hour. Game times vary week to week, but I don’t need filming every single week.) - Ideally you can shoot with 70 - 200mm lenses at least 60 fps and keep focus as players moving. Bonus points if you: - Can shoot with multiple cameras or angles - Know how to edit the footage into short highlight reels (not required, but cool if you do) - Open to the idea of shooting on iPhone to reduce budget as long as it's solid quality. Right now, it’s just one or two games a week for fun, but if it goes well, I might want to film more games or pickups in the future. I also help out with a NYC soccer training program, so there’s a small chance of future filming opportunities there too—nothing guaranteed, but something that could develop over time. With soccer growing fast in the U.S.—especially with the Club World Cup this summer and the 2026 World Cup coming up—it could be a nice addition to your portfolio or social reels if you're into sports content.
