Professional Photographer & Videographer Needed for Mental Health Practice About Us We are a boutique mental health practice with 6 therapists dedicated to providing compassionate care in a warm, welcoming environment. Our mission is to create a safe space for healing, and we need professional visual content that authentically captures our team and the supportive atmosphere we've created. Project Overview We're seeking an experienced photographer and videographer to create professional, approachable visual content for our practice website and social media channels. The right candidate will understand how to create imagery that conveys warmth, trust, and professionalism while being sensitive to the nature of mental health services. Photography: - Individual professional headshots for each of our 6 therapists (2 final edited images per therapist = 12 total) - Full-length portraits of each therapist (1 per therapist = 6 total) - Group photos of our entire team (3 different poses/settings) - Environmental shots of our office space that highlight our welcoming atmosphere (8 images) - Candid-style images showing mock therapy sessions or team interactions (6 images) Videography: -3 short reels (15-30 seconds each) for social media featuring: -Brief welcome/introduction from each therapist (1 combined reel) -Tour of our office space (1 reel) -Overview of our services (1 reel) -1 main practice introduction video (60 seconds) for our website homepage Requirements: - Portfolio demonstrating experience with professional portraiture and short-form video content - Understanding of healthcare or wellness industry photography preferred - Own professional equipment including lighting - Experience directing non-models to appear natural and comfortable on camera - Ability to create warm, inviting imagery that puts potential clients at ease - Sensitivity to the stigma surrounding mental health and ability to create imagery that is destigmatizing Location & Timeline - On-site shoot at our practice in Atwater Village, CA Los Angeles - Estimated 1-day shoot (approximately 6-8 hours) - Completed edited deliverables within 2 weeks of shoot date - Shot list and schedule to be finalized before shoot day - We'll provide a dedicated staff member to coordinate and assist throughout the shoot Target completion: [ASAP] Budget $1,290 for the complete photography and videography package, including shooting and post-production. Important Project Details - Rights/Usage: All final images and videos will be used on our website, social media, and marketing materials. We require full usage rights for all deliverables. - Styling/Wardrobe: Our team will dress professionally in coordinated but not matching attire. We welcome guidance on color palettes that photograph well. - Visual Style: We prefer warm, natural lighting that creates an inviting atmosphere. - Delivery Format: All photos delivered in high-resolution digital format with additional web-optimized versions. Videos delivered in high-quality MP4 format suitable for web and social media.
