Job Description: I’m launching a new YouTube interview series and need a reliable, skilled video editor who can edit multi-camera (3 angles) interviews into polished, engaging episodes. Each episode has about 60-80 minutes of raw footage and needs to be edited down to a 30-45 minute final cut with smooth transitions, good pacing, and professional polish. I currently have three unedited episodes ready, plus an intro and outro, and I plan to release one episode per week during the season. However, since my interviews are scheduled based on guest availability, editing work will be on an as-needed basis rather than weekly. What I Need: • Multi-camera editing (three angles per episode) • Syncing and cutting footage to maintain engaging pacing • Basic color correction and great audio enhancement (cleaning up background noise, adjusting microphone volumes, normalizing volume) • Adding my pre-made intro and outro to each episode • Adding lower-thirds & captions if needed, and simple transitions (clean and professional style, no over-the-top effects) • Fast turnaround – Ideally, three to five days per episode, with a maximum of one week • Willingness to sign an NDA – Since this project involves working with public figures, I may ask you to sign a standard confidentiality agreement before working with raw footage Bonus (not required): If you can create short-form clips (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts) from the main episode, please let me know your pricing for that as an additional service. Ideal Candidate: • Experienced with YouTube interview-style videos • Understands pacing and engagement for long-form content • Has experience with multi-camera editing (please provide examples) • Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve • Knowledge of queer culture, ballroom, and LGBTQ+ spaces/channels is a plus • Has excellent communication skills and meets deadlines Budget & Payment: • $175 per episode (based on experience and quality) • Payment is per project, not a subscription • Work will be as-needed based on my filming schedule If this goes well, I’d love to work with the same editor for future episodes.
