Stadium correspondent for stadium/fan experience website

$18.00
Hourly: $18.00 - $25.00

The Stadium Insiders is a new website focused on all things related to sports travel and the live sports fan experience. We have created stadium guides for all 30 MLB ballparks, and are looking for local market correspondents to periodically update our guides and to create social media content during the season. You'll be our eyes and ears on the ground so we can keep fans informed about anything they need to know about attending games at that ballpark. This will include content about seating products, ticketing deals, stadium foods, stadium promotions, local transit, lodging, and anything else that a visitor to the stadium would want to know about in order to make their visit as memorable as possible. Positions are available in all MLB cities. Want to see what our guides look like? https://thestadiuminsiders.com/stadium_guides/cincinnati-reds/ Responsibilities will include: --Updating our stadium guides. Our content needs to be updated each season to make sure that it's current. This may involve simply reporting information back to our editorial department, or actually writing updated copy. --Create social media content. This may include standard social media posts (photos with written content), or video content (Reels/TikTok/etc). This doesn't necessarily need to be on-camera, first-person content. We are happy to post photos and videos from the stadium without you being a part of it. We know that "social media star" isn't for everyone. Here's what we're looking for in candidates: --Strong familiarity with the ballpark you are looking to cover. You must live within 20 miles of the stadium, and must have attended at least 7-10 games annually for the past three years. We need EXPERTS in these ballparks -- people that our readers can trust to give them the inside scoop. --Photography and video skills: contributors should be able to capture high-quality video and photo content using their cell phone camera. You must have a phone or camera with a wide-angle lens (Android S20 or later, iPhone 12 Pro or later, or other comparable phone/camera). --For video creators, you must have the ability to edit content and create a finished product. --High energy, engaging personalities. Sports are fun ... and you should be fun too. --You do not need to be an expert in sports for this position because we do not cover what's happening on the field. But you do need to have significant experience in attending games and engaging in the surrounding environment. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who loves sports and going to the ballpark to help other fans know how to experience those venues. To apply, please answer the questions below, and refer us to any content that you've created that you'd like us to see.
