Part-Time Mental Health Billing/General Admin Assistance
Seeking an experienced mental health billing professional for an ongoing, part-time role. Preference for candidates familiar with Therapy Notes. Responsibilities: Track and reconcile insurance co-pays, deductibles, and client payments. Monitor insurance changes and verify client benefits within 48 hours. Follow up on unpaid claims and troubleshoot billing issues. Complete occasional insurance-related forms and letters. Perform administrative tasks, such as updating documents and sending links as needed. (Bonus) Web research to locate forms/resources or assist with minor tech issues. (Optional) Website updates—preferred but not required. Requirements: Billing experience in a mental health setting is required. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and timely task completion. Clear and professional communication skills. This role supports a solo psychotherapy practice.
