We own 2 bed and breakfasts and some short term rentals, and are acquiring 2 more bed and breakfasts next month. Please put the word Frog at the begining of your response so I know you read this. We have Inn Keepers at each of them. They do not handle reservations. Most reservations come in online. We have some over seas virtual assistants who handle many aspects of the is process. But people still call in. We have an answering service that takes messages. We need someone to return those calls and make reservations, collect credit card info ETC, answer faqs. I would expect you to respond to calls within 2 to 4 business hours, including Saturdays and Sundays. However there is some flexibility if you are sick or need time off. The overseas VAs or Inn Keepers can handle calls when necessary but a we are trying to decrease the number of calls. You'd be paid for time actually working, not being on standby. We work with a software called little Hotelier for reservations and Openphone which is an app for your phone to make call on our phone lines. As of now we are anticipating one call a day. My best guess is this may increase to 4 to 8 a day some days. If things are going well I may be able to offer some more clerical type work. We're in the Poconos Region so let me know if you happen to live close by. You'd be working with overseas VAs and local Inn Keepers via phone and text. I communicate almost exclusively by text and whatts app and rarely by phone calls. Please let me know why you would be a good fit. Your availability. Past experience.
