New Haven Reads Salesforce Project: Request for Proposals – March 2025 Background New Haven Reads is currently utilizing Salesforce (nonprofit starter pack) for multiple purposes. We had a successful customization project to incorporate our various programs into Salesforce in 2014. We are looking to complete several projects to support the fundraising part of our work. We have been using the donor portion of Salesforce since 2012. One of the key functions of Salesforce for the fundraising side of our organization is to track all donations made including those made through our online donation platform, Network for Good. Projects We would like to understand the cost implications for the following projects. 1. Web site Donation Company New Haven Reads would like to streamline the workflow to remove the manual interventions and integrate our website donation page management company directly to Salesforce. New Haven Reads currently uses Network for Good (part of Bonterra). It does not appear possible to integrate the two systems through an API. We are seeking a cost-effective solution. Please note, our preference is to continue to use Network for Good but we would be open to investigating another website donation company if they already have integrations with Salesforce. 2. Some consulting time for the following: a. Staff trainings on Salesforce Best practices b. Review the New Haven Reads processes and suggest improvements to include how to upload datasets for campaigns and wealth screening information. Establish a data clean up protocol with a “how to” Submission All proposals should be submitted with the following elements: 1. Scope of work and timeline 2. Price- total and by element described above 3. A description of your experience, list of recent projects/clients, and at least one reference from a similar project (name, organization, email, and phone) with a smaller nonprofit.
