Job Title: Legal Typist for Document Assembly and Formatting Job Description: We are an online services company based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, offering translation, transcription, captioning, voice-over, and typing services across the US and globally. We are currently hiring skilled typists with legal document assembly experience. The task involves retyping a legal complaint and assembling an Appendix that includes the following exhibits: Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C, etc. The typist will need to accurately number the pages of the exhibits and ensure they are organized correctly. The typist will also format the complaint document, ensuring that page numbers for each exhibit are added where appropriate, referencing the space provided in the complaint. Key Responsibilities: • Retype the Complaint as provided. • Assemble the Appendix with exhibits (A, B, C) and correctly number the pages. • Ensure that page numbers of the exhibits are added to the Complaint in the appropriate places. • Format the document according to legal standards, including setting up the Appendix title. Requirements: • Experience with legal typing, particularly with document assembly and legal formatting. • Ability to follow instructions closely to ensure proper document setup. • Expertise in document formatting and page numbering. • Familiarity with legal terminology, especially in complaints and appendices.
