Email List & Deliverability Manager Location: Remote | Contractor or Full-Time About Us At Traders&Quants, we operate at the highest levels of email marketing, managing a rapidly growing list of 250K+ engaged subscribers in the DTC space. Our focus is on optimizing inboxing, deliverability, and engagement through innovative strategies that drive results. The Role We are looking for an Email List & Deliverability Manager to oversee high-volume email production and management. This role is critical in ensuring our emails land in inboxes, maintain strong sender reputation, and maximize engagement. You will own the strategy and execution of our email deliverability, list segmentation, and reporting efforts while working cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams. Key Responsibilities Email Deliverability & Reputation Management: Ensure emails reach inboxes, minimizing bounces, spam complaints, and blacklist issues. Optimize sender reputation through domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), IP warming, and list hygiene best practices. Monitor inbox placement and troubleshoot deliverability issues with ESPs and ISPs. List Growth & Optimization: Manage and maintain a rapidly expanding email list. Growing by approximately 20k subscribers per month. Implement email cleaning strategies to remove bounces, spam traps, and unengaged subscribers, improving deliverability. Implement segmentation tactics to personalize and optimize campaigns. Develop hyper-engagement filters, sunset policies, and segmentation tactics to maximize inbox placement. Scheduling & Execution: Own the scheduling, automation, and execution of high-volume email campaigns. Work with content and design teams to ensure campaigns are launched on time and meet quality standards. Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key metrics: open rates, CTR, conversions, inbox placement, and engagement trends. Identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights and run A/B tests. Present findings and actionable insights to leadership. Innovation & Strategy: Stay ahead of industry trends and implement cutting-edge deliverability and engagement strategies. Develop creative solutions to maximize engagement, retention, and conversions. Optimize email flows, re-engagement campaigns, and audience segmentation tactics. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience managing high-volume email lists and deliverability. Deep expertise in ESPs, deliverability tools, and email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Strong analytical mindset with experience in reporting, A/B testing, and conversion tracking. Problem-solver who can proactively identify and resolve deliverability issues. Ability to innovate with list management strategies (e.g., hyper-engagement filters, segmentation optimizations). Team player with excellent communication skills and a data-driven approach. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ESPs like ActiveCampaign, Blueshift, SendGrid, and Beehiive. Familiarity with Google Postmaster, Barracuda, and other email monitoring tools. Strong understanding of email compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
