We are seeking a skilled and proactive Remote IT Support Helpdesk Technician to join our team and assist with providing technical support to clients. This position will involve working with various IT systems, resolving user issues, and supporting our managed IT services. The ideal candidate will be experienced in troubleshooting, remote support, and have a solid understanding of IT systems and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Provide timely and efficient technical support to clients via email, phone, and remote desktop tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, network connectivity, firewalls, endpoint protection (e.g., SentinelOne), email protection (e.g., Proofpoint), and more. Support and maintain various systems and technologies, including managed networks (Unifi, Mikrotik, Meraki) and cloud-based services (SkyKick). Assist with software installations, updates, and configuration. Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve escalated issues and improve customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of support requests, issues, and solutions in the ticketing system. Provide proactive solutions to prevent common IT issues and improve system performance. Assist with onboarding and training users on basic IT processes and procedures. Help monitor and maintain security systems, including camera surveillance and door access control. Qualifications: Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10, and network administration. Experience working with managed networks, firewalls, and endpoint protection. Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Splashtop). Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues across various devices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-technical users. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment. IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) are a plus. Required Availability: This is a remote, part-time/full-time position. Flexible working hours, with the need for responsiveness during core business hours (Eastern Time Zone). On-call availability may be required for urgent support requests.
