Sitting at the desk and greeting guests and visitors Answering questions people might be asking Getting them to sign the guest book and encouraging them to get on the mailing list Taking care of sales whenever needed (a price list will be available on the desk) Showing visitors the available literature involving the show (includes the program guide) Directing performers to their assigned spots in the venue's space Making sure that the 3 or 4 audio loops relating to the works on view are running properly Alerting the host of any issues that might occur, such as captions falling off the wall, or any other problems that might surface in the gallery during the course of the day. Making sure there is enough to eat and drink on the self-serve table Being ready to deal with unforeseen issues that might come up
