We are developing an adjustable pet washing device and are looking for a Material Scientist Engineer to help us select the best materials for durability, water resistance, and pet safety. What You’ll Do: • Research and recommend materials that are waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and pet-friendly. • Conduct feasibility studies on material performance, safety, and cost. • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and Industrial Designers to align material choices with product design. • Provide guidance on manufacturing compatibility and regulatory compliance. • Ensure environmentally friendly and non-toxic material selection. Skills & Expertise: • Expertise in polymers, coatings, and composite materials. • Experience in material selection for consumer products, preferably pet or home care products. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, 3D printing, etc.). • Understanding of FDA/EPA regulations related to materials. • Strong background in materials testing and analysis.
