I have a website, which was written in PHP about 20 years ago. We've been updating it to PHP 8, and have tried protecting the database via using stored procedures and have it running on AWS Lightsail/Ubuntu. However, the site has a number of input fields throughout and it wouldn't surprise me if hackers can get in via some of the ajax-calls or user input fields, or other methods that I don't even know about. I'd like to pay someone to look at our site for security holes or anything that could be a problem. In particular, we are using SendGrid from emails and Stripe for payment processing. I think we've got things locked down there, but I want to be doubly sure. We've also got a captcha on our forms. Our site sells high-end products and that tends to attract the bad guys. If someone has tools that'll run a site through it's paces, that'd be great. I'd really just like someone to take a look at the code and site and fix any holes you may find. It's a LAMP-based tech-stack, with a mysql database. It's all PHP, JQuery, mySQL, Apache, and Bootstrap. Nothing fancy. I don't want to share the url to the website until we connect as I don't want people trying to break it before I can get it fixed. In any case, if you can highlight your tools and skillsets and things you'd recommend for starters, that'll help me decide who to hire. Thanks!
