Overview: The Podcast Assistant supports the production and performance of LIFE Network’s podcast catalog, including the flagship Triumph Weekly show. This role requires a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for audio content, health and wellness, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Podcast Operations Manager, the Podcast Assistant plays a critical role in executing production workflows, coordinating guests, managing timelines, assisting with marketing efforts, and supporting post-production tasks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes, loves systems and storytelling, and is eager to contribute to a fast-paced media team making a global impact. Key Responsibilities: -Assist with podcast episode planning and scheduling -Coordinate guest bookings, outreach, and communication -Write show notes, titles, and episode descriptions -Manage podcast publishing on platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.) -Edit or coordinate audio editing with a third-party editor (if needed) -Create and schedule social media posts or audiograms to promote episodes -Monitor listener feedback, reviews, and audience engagement -Perform research for upcoming episodes or guests -Help repurpose content for blog posts, newsletters, or other formats Experience & Qualifications: -Recommended: 1–2 years of podcasting, media production, or editorial assistant experience (internships included). -Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. -Excellent written communication skills, especially for crafting episode descriptions and show notes. -Working knowledge of podcast platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.) and analytics tools. -Experience with project management software such as Asana, Trello, or Notion. -Ability to take initiative, work independently, and maintain accountability in a remote setting. -Interest in health, wellness, fitness, personal development, or biohacking strongly preferred.
