Digital Marketing Specialist (Paid + Organic) – Freelance We’re a small but mighty creative agency looking for a digital marketing specialist who knows their way around both paid and organic campaigns and can actually do the work - not just talk about it. Ability to set strategy, execute with precision, and optimize without needing hand-holding. This is an hourly freelance opportunity with consistent monthly work if you prove reliable and results-driven. WHAT YOU’LL DO: 1.) Strategy & Planning Build tailored digital marketing strategies for a variety of clients across industries. Define measurable goals and track conversions via Google Tag Manager, GA4, Search Console, and other analytics tools. Recommend the right mix of paid/organic channels to hit those goals—then execute. 2.) Paid Advertising Plan, create, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Video, Shopping). Manage social ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). 3.) SEO Perform deep keyword research and on-page optimization (title/meta/content). Keep an eye on performance in Google Search Console and SEO platforms (SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.). Collaborate on content strategies that actually move the needle. 4.) Performance Reporting Set up automated monthly reports that don’t require a scavenger hunt. Offer insights, not just numbers—tell us what worked, what didn’t, and what’s next. 5.) Collaboration Work with designers, devs, and content folks to keep campaigns cohesive and on-target. Communicate proactively—no ghosting, no radio silence. 6.) Process + Tools Document your workflows/SOPs Tools we use: GA4, GTM, Google Ads, SEMrush, Vista Social, WordPress, Yoast, Rank Math, ClickUp. WHO YOU ARE: A proven digital marketer with 4+ years of real, hands-on experience. Fluent in both the strategic and tactical sides of SEO and paid ads. Organized, self-driven, and not afraid to push back when something doesn’t make sense. Bonus: Experience with B2B campaigns, lead gen, and tracking attribution with tools like Lead Forensics. HOURS & COMMITMENT: This is a part-time, freelance role, that could become ongoing. We expect weekly check-ins, updates in our project management tool (ClickUp), and clear communication.
