Objective: Create a windows application that does the following Requirements -Windows Application -Use visual studio in C# -Interface with Google Sheets (underlying database) Note: We have developed a windows application used for programming the devices and cartridges. It already has an interface to google sheets where it pulls in cartridge information to be programmed. This application code can be shared with you to give an understanding of the direction we want to go. Goal #1: Semi-Automate the Data Collection Process -Remove the need for coolterm by interfacing with the device directly over serial (USB) -Create a database interface; we use google drive for everything and do not have an on site server. -All data should be sent to a master spreadsheet in drive. -Data from a test should also be able to be exported via a csv. -Pre-loaded data fields pulled from google sheet (e.g., cartridge ID, drawer type, shim stack etc.) -Run multiple tests back to back (user selects number of tests) -Checkbox to pause tests in between tests -Relatively hands off testing Goal #2: Create More User Friendly Interface -User friendly way to update information (e.g., add new cartridges, devices to list) -Easily populates testing information -Type of Test -Test Report ID (auto generates) -Date (auto-populates) -Time (auto-populates) -Unique Test Report ID (split between quicktests, and stream tests) -Testing Phase Goal #3: Key Metrics analysis and visualization -Create an interface within the app to be able to filter and visualize data -Interfaces with master spreadsheet -Can display graphs, reports etc. -Data Filters e.g. cartridge ID, cartridge lot, device ID, time frame etc. -Visual and Summary Metrics Instant report visualization: -QuickTest Results -Other current and future test results -EEPROM (information stored on the cartridge, which is part of the raw data received during the test) Goal #4: Future Expansion -The Autotester is always changing and new test modes are being added. -The deliverables should include a walk through and knowledge handoff so that the final software can be added to and refined for future growth.
