We are a published interior design firm transitioning our project base to in-house content generation across home, health, wellness, food, culture and personal growth. Think: start-up mode mentality. We seek a well-rounded, multi-tasking Freelance Social Media Manager that brings equal parts scheduling/management proficiency and know-how across platforms (including skills, current algorithms, forecasts and specific platform features) who can also EDIT well. This includes editing posts, stories, podcast highlights/clips, videos, videography (a bonus if you work with equipment more than an Iphone and have experience with AI visuals, graphics). If you're tech-savvy, highly aesthetic and obsess over all things media-- strategy, editing, music and visuals libraries and their organizational systems (think: large content library, how to organize, access, assemble for story lines, best practices for work flow) and get around an Excel spreadsheet well this pro challenge might be for you. About the role: -Freelance. In NYC office mostly w/some remote. -Minimum 3 years experience. -Schedule, post and monitor social media across Instagram (FB), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Email list. -Podcast experience and social commerce i.e. Whatnot, ShopMy, TikTok shop a bonus. -Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, ManyChat, MP3/4 conversions, ChatGBT, AI visual platforms -Package and prep new and existing content for optimized, cross-platform distribution, i.e. posts, reels, carousels, podcast clips, teases. High level of aesthetics and detail required. -Work closely with creative team to learn the brand philosophy, contribute to content ideas, shoot Iphone videos or photos; maintain a high editorial, aspirational aesthetic and have a passion for design and lifestyle categories. -Interface with social media requests and foster collaboration. -Monitor community engagement. -Understand SEO and business performance metrics, i.e. growth, reach, engagement, conversions, KPI's, trends. You must track, report and advise on these. -Be a self starter who thrives in a start-up, hands on environment. You will help create the organizational and scheduling framework that the company will follow, as well as manage our content library. This is a lot to ask of one person but it's also a great opportunity to be a part of a ground up mission to re-frame the lifestyle space.
