Project Summary: We’re producing a 25-30 page, full-color printed comic book for Biome Brigade®, a science-based pet supplement brand that combines pet health and action-packed storytelling. This collector-style comic will serve as a showcase piece at SuperZoo, one of the biggest pet industry trade shows in the world. We’re looking for a talented comic book illustrator to bring our scripts, storyboards, and animated content to life in a traditional comic format. You’ll work from provided scripts and reference animations to illustrate two complete episodes. The tone is fun, action-packed, educational, and character-driven. Scope of Work: 1. Responsible for cover design 2. Illustrate and layout 25–30 full-color pages 3. Based on scripts and reference animations (Episodes 1 & 2 of the Biome Brigade series) 4. Design front/back character bio pages for heroes and villains (including Backpack and ARMY A.N.T.) 5. Integrate digitally created product showcase pages for: a. GutShield™, ItchGuard™, GoodGut™, Gut Health Test Kit b. Character-themed Chew Toys and Biome Brigade Dog Bowls 6. Integrate digitally created Retailer Info Page (with space for product displays + messaging) 7. Integrate digitally created QR code pages linking to animation, press, and contact info 8. Add game/activity pages for kids Comic should feel like a collector’s item — engaging, high-quality, and fun! Deliverables: 1. 25-30 pages of full-color, print-ready comic art 2. Cover (front + back) 3. All source files (PSD, AI, or layered format for edits) 4. Print-ready PDF (we can provide final print specs if needed) 5. Final art must be delivered by June 15, 2025 We Provide: 1. All episode scripts and copy 2. Storyboard and finished animations for visual reference 3. Complete character designs and color palettes 4. Product reference and layout guidance 5. Branding materials and logos Additional Notes: NDA and IP assignment required Final comic will be printed and distributed at SuperZoo, so work must be high quality and suitable for professional presentation Illustrator will be credited in promotional materials Ideal Candidate Has: 1.
