Wordpress site timing out - Need someone to solve the issue

One of my wordpress sites is timing out. I think it's a server issue, but not sure. It's saying 500 internal server error. Most likely a PHP issue. Saying "FastCGI process exceeded configured request timeout. The site is hosted on Amazon AWS. I need someone to look into it and resolve the issue.
