Project Manager Needed To Help Launch a New Initiative

The ideal contractor will be a highly organized, self-directed Project Manager to support the planning, tracking, and execution of cross-functional projects working with both internal and external teams. We are looking for someone experienced in managing complex initiatives, coordinating with creative and technical teams, and delivering executive-level updates. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and taking full ownership of their work without micromanagement. This job includes overseeing detailed project dashboards, coordinating timelines and budgets, and ensuring delivery of content and strategic initiatives across multiple work-streams. After successful completion of the current projects, there will be similar initiatives that blend operations, content oversight, market research, and light strategy. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution • Build and maintain project dashboards in Monday.com or Excel to track active and upcoming initiatives • Create and manage Gantt charts and timelines to drive project visibility and execution • Track project-level budgets and flag any discrepancies or cost-saving opportunities • Identify blockers early and proactively provide multiple mitigation options Content & Production Coordination • Oversee timelines for storyboard, script development, content production, and post-production activities • Coordinate cross-functional communication with video production, editorial, and subject matter teams • Lead internal project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on next steps Reporting & Communication • Deliver weekly project status reports with executive-ready summaries of progress, concerns, and decisions needed • Ensure clear, prompt communication with stakeholders to maintain momentum and accountability Required Skills & Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, program operations, or cross-functional delivery roles • Proven ability to manage timelines, track budgets, and drive accountability across multiple stakeholders • Strong written communication skills for executive reporting and documentation • Demonstrated success with dashboard tools (e.g., Excel, Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet) • Comfortable leading meetings, pushing work forward independently, and reporting to senior leadership • Experience creating or overseeing deliverables that involve content development or production workflows • Analytical mindset with ability to synthesize market data and present clear recommendations Nice to Have • Experience working with video production or creative teams • Background in instructional design, training, or digital content delivery • Familiarity with basic budgeting principles for project-level cost tracking What Success Looks Like • Projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with clear documentation • Dashboards and reports reflect real-time status and drive informed decision-making • Strategic recommendations are thoughtful, data-informed, and actionable • You operate with a high degree of independence, requiring minimal oversight to stay aligned with priorities We're not looking for you to put a TON of work into your proposal - but we'd like to be sure you've read this through entirely and aren't just sending us a template, or something generated by AI.
