Opportunity: Full Stack Developer (U.S.-Based, Remote, HIPAA-Compliant Platform) Flexible • Part-Time • Long-Term Engagement We’re looking for a skilled and self-motivated Full Stack Developer based in the U.S. to take full ownership of a secure, HIPAA-compliant online therapy platform — currently in its final development stage. You'll be stepping into a meaningful project designed to support mental health professionals and their clients through a seamless, modern virtual care experience. About the Platform: This all-in-one solution is built to manage the complete mental health journey — from onboarding to sessions and secure communication. It includes a responsive web app and a cross-platform mobile app, developed with both therapists and clients in mind. The platform was initially developed by an offshore team, and we are now transitioning to an onshore developer for long-term maintenance, deployment, and new feature development. --- Key Features Already Built: - Secure login & registration (for therapists and clients) - Therapist dashboard: manage intake forms, notes, scheduling, secure messaging - Client dashboard: book sessions, complete forms, access files and billing - Zoom API integration for video sessions - Stripe integration for payments and billing - Admin portal to manage users, services, and settings --- Tech Stack (Anticipated): - Frontend (Web): React.js - Mobile App: React Native or Flutter - Backend: Node.js and/or Firebase - Database: Firestore (or equivalent) - APIs: Zoom, Stripe, etc. - Hosting: Firebase, Vercel, or AWS --- Your Role: - Fully review, understand, and take over the existing codebase - Optimize and refactor where needed for performance and scalability - Develop new features based on a growing product roadmap - Manage web and mobile deployments; assist with app store submissions - Maintain HIPAA-compliant standards throughout the platform - Ensure long-term technical integrity and provide ongoing support --- You Might Be a Great Fit If You Have: - Strong full stack experience (React + backend) - Mobile app development skills (React Native or Flutter) - Experience with Firebase or serverless cloud infrastructure - Integration experience with Zoom and Stripe APIs - Knowledge of HIPAA compliance or healthcare IT (strong plus) - Clear, independent communication and a proactive mindset - Bonus: Published apps in the App Store or Google Play --- Contract & Commitment: - Initial contract for handoff, cleanup, and high-priority updates - Ongoing, part-time maintenance and feature development - Estimated 10–20 hours/week with flexible scheduling - Open to hourly or milestone-based compensation --- To Apply, Please Include: - A short introduction about yourself and your relevant experience - Examples of healthcare, telehealth, or HIPAA-compliant projects (if any) - Links to your GitHub, portfolio, or public code samples - Your hourly rate or preferred pricing model - Weekly availability and your time zone --- Make a real impact in mental health tech — we’d love to hear from you!
