We are looking for a skilled Squarespace designer to maintain, update, and assist with changes to our existing website. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Squarespace and be familiar with its design capabilities and functionalities. The main responsibilities will include regular website maintenance, updating content, and implementing design changes as required. The successful candidate should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. Key Responsibilities - Review current website and provide recommendations for updates/improvements - Implement design changes to improve the look and user experience - Add new pages and content sections as needed - Integrate new features and functionality (e.g. forms, ecommerce, etc.) - Ensure mobile responsiveness and browser compatibility - Test the updated site thoroughly before going live Required skills: - Expert proficiency in Squarespace design and development - Strong understanding of website design principles - Strong skills in web design, UX/UI & front end development - Knowledge of HTML and CSS - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues - Familiarity with SEO best practices - Minimum 2 years of experience designing & building Squarespace websites - Ability to quickly learn about our business/industry to design accordingly - Excellent communication skills to understand requirements - Portfolio showing examples of modern, professional Squarespace sites This is a medium-sized project that may require ongoing maintenance and updates. The duration of the project is expected to be 1 to 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on future requirements. We are seeking an intermediate level Squarespace designer who can work efficiently and deliver high-quality results.
